Pumpkin Patch 2013

Going to the local pumpkin patch has become a yearly tradition around here. It’s something we plan in advance and it’s something I look forward too.

In recent years, my parents have jumped in on the tradition. They like getting out and spending time with us. It’s nice to have local spots to visit and enjoy the outdoors every once in a while.

It just doesn’t seem like fall until I see a pumpkin, and I’m not talking about the Halloween pumpkin explosion that happens in late August, early September, in any and all stores. I’m talking about a real, gooey on the inside, hard on the outside, plump orange (or white or green) pumpkin.

Happy Fall everyone!
